Thank you for choosing Nepal Everest Holidays Pvt. Ltd. We request you to carefully read and understand our terms and conditions before booking your trip with us. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Booking:
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to be paid at the time of booking. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. The remaining amount should be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu at our office in Thamel before trip departure. We accept Cash USD, Euros, or GBP Pound as well as Visa or Master credit/debit cards. If you are booking a customized trip or booking through a third-party website, a 3.9% card fee will be charged extra.
Cancellation & Refunds:
Cancellation of the trip should be notified to us in writing. Please note that the following cancellation fees will be charged:
- Cancellation of the trip 30 days before the trip departure date – 0% (30% deposit non-refundable).
- Cancellation of the trip 15 – 29 Days before the trip departure date – 50%
- Cancellation of the trip 07 -14 Days before the trip departure – 80%
- Cancellation of the trip 07 or less Days before the trip departure – 100%
In case of trip cancellation due to COVID or any other reason, your paid 30% deposit is non-refundable. However, we offer to postpone the trek for up to one year without any extra charges. If you come to do the trek later than one year, and our trip cost increases, you will have to pay the difference. Your paid deposit is valid for 3 years, so you may come and use your paid deposit for a future trip in Nepal. We also offer you the option to switch the trek and use your paid deposit for a different trip.
Passport & Nepal Visas:
All clients must have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepalese visa can be obtained from the Nepalese Embassies or Consulate in your country or on arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa cost is the personal responsibility of clients.
Insurance:
Insurance of all the staff of Nepal Everest Holidays is the responsibility of Nepal Everest Holidays. However, the insurance of the client is on their own. So, the client must submit to us their insurance policy documents at the time of booking the Trip with us.
Acceptance of Risk and Liabilities:
Nepal Everest Holidays is committed to providing the best services to make your journey smooth and successful. However, we and our related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control such as govt. restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, bad weather, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident. The nature of some of our trips is adventurous and risky, and it is your responsibility to take all risks on yourself such as damages, injuries, or death resulting from these natural risks.
Trip cancels by the Company or Customer.
If Nepal Everest Holidays cancels your trip, your deposit and payments will be refunded in full. However, if our cancellation is due to civil war or any other unpredictable circumstances beyond our control, the reasonable expenses that we have already paid for the process of the trip will be deducted from your deposit. If customers want to cancel the trip for whatever reason, there will be a 30% trip cancellation charge deducted from the total amount, and 70% will be refundable. If customers paid the only deposit, that is non-refundable.
Please note that there are different rates for the cancellation fee of Tibet and Bhutan Trips. If you plan to extend your trip to avoid cancellation, please inform us via email at least 2 weeks before the trip departure date. You will need to pay the increased amount if the cost of the trip increases due to an increment in local expenses.
Nepal Everest Holidays is not liable for any refunds in case of an incomplete tour, trek, or expedition, whatever the reason from the customer’s side. We pay for the trek and expedition upfront to our guide and porter, covering all expenses during the trip. If you come back early from the trek or tour, any extra days of hotel, meals, and other expenses must be taken care of by yourself.
Acceptance of risk and Liabilities
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept the risks and liabilities involved in trekking, touring, or participating in any activity organized by Nepal Everest Holidays. We strive to provide you with the best service by fulfilling our duties honestly to make your journey smooth and successful. However, we and our related organizations shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control, such as government restrictions, landslides, road blockages, floods, bad weather, political unrest, flight cancellations, delays, sickness, accidents, and other natural risks. You assume all risks, including damages, injuries, or death resulting from these natural risks.
