Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Our very first day of the trek begins following with a morning breakfast at our inn in Kathmandu then our driver will drop you at the domestic air terminal and take off around 35 beautiful trips out to Lukla. Upon landing in Lukla, you will be welcomed by our staff who will help us throughout the excursion by carrying baggage, after presenting our group and having a short superb tea stop then we start our short trip towards Phakding town, we just have 4 hours climb today to help the appropriate acclimatization.

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar

After breakfast, a 3 hours trek will lead you to the Monzo at 2,835m which is an entry spot of the Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing the suspension bridge at Dudh Kosi waterway at Jorsale( 2,740 m). After lunch the trail continuously goes up through the woodland to the Namche Bazaar (3440m). You will trek for 5 to 6 hours approximately of the day. Spend the night at a local tea house or hotel in Namche Bazaar.

Day 03: Acclimatisation at Namche Bazaar

You will have acclimatization or full rest for the day. As a short hike, you can go towards the Syangboche periphery at 3880m, climb 2 hours to reach Everest view inn, and partake in a 360-degree view of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest(8848 m) with a lovely scene loaded up with evergreen fir trees, and bushes. Return back to Namche Bazaar and stay overnight.

Day 04: Trek to Tengboche

From Namche, the trail is outlined to Kyangjuma(3600 m) with an amazing view of Mount Everest (8848.86 m), Ama Dablam and Lhotse. The path plummets to the stream Dudh Kosi, at Phungi Thanga (3250m). After lunch, the trail climb through the pine woodland to Tengboche (3,867m). The trekking of the day will be of around 5 to 6 hours and upon arrival at tengboche, you will rest and stay overnight at a local tea house or lodge.

Day 05:Trek to Dingboche

Trek of this day goes through the rhododendron timberland to Deboche and crosses the Imja Khola (river). The path climbs with an incredible view of Ama Dablam to the Pangboche town (3,900 m). Subsequently, you will hike for about an hour to reach Somare (4,010m) and have lunch there. After lunch, continue the trek towards Dingboche (4,410m). Total trekking hours of the day is about 5 to 6 hours. Spend the night at a well-accommodated hotel in Dingboche.

Day 06: Acclimatisation at Dingboche

Today is the second rest day for this EBC trek of 12 days. You can simply rest at the hotel or move around for short hikes. For hiking, you can walk for around 3 hours and reach Nagarjuna Hill (5,050m). To climb the top of the hill is amazingly difficult yet fun with sensational views of Ama Dablam (6,812m), Makalu (8,485m) and Cho Oyu (8,201m). Finally, return back to Dingboche hotel and spend the night.

Day 07: Trek to Lobuche

After a short incline, the edge, quite open Yak field land walking to the Thukla (4,620m). At Thukla, you will have lunch and continue the hiking part. Trail rises to the Thukla pass (4,830m), a memorial spot for the dedication of those climbers who've died during climbing Mt. Everest. From here, progressively ascend to the Lobuche (4,940 m). The approximate hiking time of the day is 4 to 5 hours. Spend the night at a well-accommodated local tea house in Lobuche.

Day 08: Trek to Gorak Shep to Everest Base camp and back to Gorak Shep

From Lobuche, the path is delicately inclines upwards to the moraine at Gorakshep (5,140 m), the last settlement before base camp and Kalapatthar. You will have lunch at Gorakshep and continue to move forward. The climb of about 3 hours towards the Khumbu Glacier arriving at your definitive destination, Mount Everest base camp (5,364 m) is finished. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains, natural landscape and green panorama, and stroll back to Gorak Shep. In total, you will walk for around 6 to 7 hours and spend the night at a lodge in Gorak Shep.

Day 09: Trek to Kala patthar and back to Pheriche

Early in the morning, 2 hours ascend to the Kala Pattar (5,643 m) (Black Rock), a slope that gives the best view of Mount Everest (8,848 m) and the encompassing pinnacles. Enjoy the breakfast with mystic Himalayan views and start the journey towards Lobuche. At Lobuche, you will have lunch and again start wandering towards Pheriche experiencing and witnessing the Dudh Koshi river winding through the valley. This day will have the highest hours of walk as you will be walking for around 7 to 8 hours to accomplish all the destinations. Stay overnight at a local lodge in Pheriche.

Day 10: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Today you will walk for around 6 to 7 hours in order to reach Namche Bazaar from Pheriche. The path gradually goes up and down all over the place to the Tengboche. At Tengboche, you will have lunch and begin strolling again. From here, the Trek route descends to Phungi Thanga (3,250m), climbs to the Kyanjuma (3,600m), and finally outlines the Namche Bazaar. Spend a night at a local tea house or lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

From Namche Bazaar, the path steeps to the Dudh Koshi river, and crosses the suspension bridge to Jorsalle (2740m). From Jorslle 3 hours walk to the Phakding through Monjo. At Monjo, have lunch and continue the trekking. The trekking route constantly goes up and down to the Lukla at (2,860m). This day will have the trekking of around 6 to 7 hours until you complete the distance between Namche Bazaar and Lukla. Spend the rest of the day and night at a lodge in Lukla.

Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight

Early morning, you will have breakfast at Lukla lodge and head towards Lukla airport to catch the flight. It will take only few minutes (around 5 to 10) to reach airport, Tenzing Hillary Airport. Then, you will board the airplane and fly towards Kathmandu. It will take just 35 minutes approximately to complete the air distance between Kathmandu and Lukla. When you arrive at Kathmandu, you will be dropped at your Kathmandu hotel where you can freshen up and rest. Likewise, you can roam around local streets and markets near the hotel.

Visas can be issued on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The expense for a three-month tourist visa is 40 USD which is playable at the airport.
